New surface sizing agent/solid surface sizing agent

1.Introduction: This new solid surface sizing agent is polymerized by several kinds cationic material,it doesn’t needs metering pump and special workers operating,very easy to be used.It can save lot of sizing cost,also enhance the paper surface strength and water resistant.This product is well used in corrugated paper, line board paper,cardboard paper,etc. 2.Main specifications: Appearance:light green powder Particle size:40-65mesh Ionic:cationic Solubility:very easy soluble in water 3.Performance 1)well enhance paper’s surface printing strength,short the curing time and save the production cost. 2)It can totally replace the liquid surface sizing agent,in the mean time has the good water resistant property. 3)Very good mechanical stability. 4.Application: 1)dosage:during the starch cooking,replace 15% native starch,usually is 10-15KG per ton paper,and also decrease the starch using quantity 10-15KG per ton paper. 2)Using Ammonium persulfate to oxidize native starch,using quantity is 4-5‰ of starch using quantity.If it is oxdized starch,then no need.Adding into the finished cooking starch emulsion,keep for 20-30minutes at the temperature of 90-95℃. 3) During the starch pasting,when temperature arrives at 70℃,we should slow the temperature increasing speed.When it arrives at 93-95℃,keep this temperature for at least 20minutes. That is promise for starch and other material reacting well. 4)The finished starch emulsion’s viscosity should be about 50-80mpa.s. We can use the Ammonium persulfate to adjust the viscosity. 5)In addition,if we use Amylase to oxidize starch,when finish the starch pasting,we add the solid surface sizing agent at the temperature at 93℃,and keep for 20 minutes. 6)The final starch emulsion must finish the pasting within one time,don’t use water to dilute it. 7)When we use the final starch emulsion in sizing process,the sizing temperature should be at 80-85℃.
