Instrument is mainly used to test the whiteness of diversified objects such as paper and board, pulps and chemical fiber, textile, plastic, ceramic, enamel, fecula, salt, white cerement, porcelain
clay and French chalk, etc. It can also be used to test the optical performance
of sheet materials, for example, opacity test.

Measure the Blue Reflectance Factor of samples. Blue Reflectance.Factor is so called “Blue Whiteness” or “ISO Brightness”. Analyze the sample to find out whether it contains any fluorescent brightener. If so, measure the fluorescent whiteness further, namely whitening rate. Measure the opacity, transparency, light scatterin coefficient and light absorbing coefficient

The base with a measuring button is under this instrument. Plug seat and power switch are at the rear of this instrument. Earthing grip of the plug seat (connected to the shell of this instrument) should be earthed reliably. Power supply is inside the upright column which is in the middle of
this instrument. Main body of this
instrument is at the top.
